Instead of detecting physical movement directly, they identify variations in the infrared radiation emitted by the human body. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When a person enters the detection area, the sensor detects a change in the thermal pattern and activates the lighting.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">
