Industrial Lighting Project: Military Arsenal

We are pleased to present our recent industrial lighting project carried out at the Military Arsenal, located in Galicia, Spain. This project covered a total area of 1,190 m², distributed across three indoor facilities, each with specific characteristics and requirements typical of their industrial nature.

Project Development

The project began when the installation company requested a quote from the materials supplier. Subsequently, a technical study was required to ensure that the selected products met the lighting standards required for the three warehouses, each with different dimensions, heights, and uses. Since no floor plans were available, we conducted a site visit to perform a manual survey of the warehouses. During this inspection, we collected key data on the dimensions, heights, and conditions of the existing lighting. This data served as the basis for developing a detailed model in Dialux Evo, with the goal of simulating and verifying the lighting results for each warehouse. In some cases, due to the lower available height, it was necessary to adjust the wattage of the selected floodlights to ensure adequate and uniform lighting performance.

Technical Solution

For this project, we used our ATEX-certified VESTV2200B projectors, which are specifically designed for industrial environments. These units proved to be an ideal solution, thanks to their efficiency, versatility, and ability to adapt to the specific lighting needs of each space.

Implementation and Installation

After validating the study’s results and approving the final proposal, the projectors were installed in the three facilities. Coordination among the various parties involved was key to the project’s success, ensuring flawless execution. Today, the Military Arsenal has an optimized industrial lighting system that significantly improves working conditions at the facility.
