The 1960s
The Early Days of ROBLAN
In the mid-1960s, Asturian businessman José Rodríguez Blanco brought a dream to life that today lights up continents. In Caracas, Venezuela, he opened a small store dedicated to the wholesale sale of electrical supplies, laying the foundation for what would eventually become ROBLAN, a leading international brand in lighting and electrical solutions.
1986: ROBLAN is founded
In 1986, Arturo Pereira registered the ROBLAN trademark, marking a decisive step in the company’s history. What began as a distributor of electrical supplies evolved into a manufacturer of its own products, with its own identity, total control over quality and innovation, and a vision to become a global leader in lighting and electrical solutions.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new era, in which ROBLAN is beginning to make its mark on every project, every industry, and every country.
