El Trato Rice Restaurant – Gastrobar

As part of Roblan’s commitment to supporting the hospitality industry and enhancing the character of dining spaces through lighting, we present the comprehensive project we carried out for Arrocería El Trato Gastrobar, one of the five winners of the “Bares con Luz Propia” contest. This contest recognizes inspiring stories of bars and restaurants that, in addition to offering an outstanding culinary experience, demonstrate the passion, effort, and dedication behind every dish. Arrocería El Trato was selected for its exemplary track record, entrepreneurial spirit, and its role in the daily lives of local residents.
Arrocería El Trato opened its doors on February 14, 2018, with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to quality cuisine. Just four months after opening, they were already recognized in the “Best Rice Dishes in Spain” competition, where they took first place in Madrid. In 2021, they achieved their greatest recognition by participating in the prestigious International Valencian Paella Competition in Sueca, winning the title of “Best Paella in Spain.” Since then, their cuisine has been synonymous with excellence and authenticity, building a loyal and ever-growing customer base.
Project Objective
The main goal was to design a lighting system that would reflect the spirit of the venue: modern, welcoming, authentic, and with a culinary flair. The lighting was intended to enhance the diner’s experience without overshadowing the dishes, while highlighting the details of the space. The design focused on a combination of efficiency, design, and warmth. The result: a warm, enveloping atmosphere that transforms the space throughout the day, from a quiet lunch to a dinner with a sophisticated ambiance.
