Lighting Project for a Soccer Field in Córdoba
We are pleased to present our lighting project for the soccer field located in Córdoba, a vibrant sports venue that required an upgrade to its lighting system to ensure the safety and optimal performance of the players. To address this challenge, we chose to use the ARENA96005K, a strategic choice that effectively met our needs. Project Characteristics:
- Light Fixtures Used: We installed a total of 24 ARENA96005K units to illuminate the soccer field. These light fixtures provide a powerful light source that ensures clear and sharp visibility during games and practices.
- Field with Track and Field Track: Recognizing the multifunctional needs of the space, we incorporated a track and field track into the lighting design. Our approach ensures adequate lighting for both the soccer field and the track, thereby optimizing the versatility of the sports area.
- Class I Classification: Given the field’s classification as Class I, we face the challenge of complying with the specific lighting standards required for this type of facility. It is essential to ensure adequate lighting levels to support player safety and performance.
Limitations and Solutions:
- Stock Availability: One of the main constraints we faced was the need to work with the resources available in stock. This limited our selection of lenses and other specific components. However, despite this constraint, we were able to design an effective lighting system that meets the required standards.
Results Obtained:
- Uniformity: Our solution provides a lighting uniformity of 0.6, ensuring an even distribution of light across the entire surface of the soccer field and track. This helps minimize shadows and dark spots, improving visibility and safety during sports activities.
- Lighting Level: Using the ARENA96005K lights, we achieved a lighting level of 145 lux, exceeding the regulatory requirements for a Class I soccer field. This appropriate light intensity provides optimal conditions for sports, enhancing the experience for both players and spectators.
In summary, our lighting project for the soccer field in Córdoba represents an effective solution tailored to the specific needs of the sports facility. Despite limitations in stock availability, we have succeeded in designing a system that meets the required safety and performance standards, thereby ensuring an optimal and vibrant sports environment for the local community.
