Lighting in food retail spaces is a key factor in ensuring a positive shopping experience, improving product visibility, and optimizing the store’s energy efficiency. In this project, ROBLAN contributed to the lighting design for the ALCOOP supermarket in Córdoba, providing an efficient, uniform linear lighting solution tailored to the specific needs of the retail environment.

The project was supplied by our distributor, Secorsa, and installed by Antonio Guerrero, a professional in the field, further strengthening a partnership that has yielded a functional, high-quality result.

Project Description

The project involved the installation of a continuous linear lighting system in the supermarket’s retail area, covering a total of 136 meters with our VSETD120B LED linear fixtures. The main objective was to provide uniform general lighting, ensuring excellent visibility throughout the store.

The solution adopted eliminates shadowed areas, improves the perception of space, and ensures visual comfort for both customers and employees. In addition, the LED technology used helps significantly reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs—key factors in this type of facility with extended operating hours.

The lighting fixtures have been installed in a clean and neat manner, contributing to a modern and professional look that is consistent with the supermarket's image.

Result

The result is a perfectly lit retail space, where the uniformity and quality of the light help enhance the shopping experience and the store's operational performance.
