Lighting of the Facade of the Natural Science Museum – Madrid
At ROBLAN, we have had the pleasure of illuminating the facade of the Natural Science Museum in Madrid, located in the Chamartín district, combining advanced technology, design, and efficiency to highlight one of the city’s most iconic cultural venues.
The project sought to bring life, modernity, and visual appeal to the museum’s façade through a dynamic and fully controllable lighting system capable of adapting to various events and urban needs.
Project Description
For this project, we chose our ABELLA fixtures, which were mounted on poles 18 meters away from the facade and programmed via DMX, allowing for dynamic scenes in RGB colors. Thanks to this programming, dimming effects, transitions, and flickering are achieved that highlight architectural details, sculptures, and heritage elements on the facade, offering a unique visual experience to visitors and passersby.
The images of the project were taken in the rain, highlighting ABELLA’s IP66 protection rating, which allows it to withstand extreme outdoor conditions without compromising its performance or the project’s aesthetics.
